The goal
My goal for 2025 was to build stronger fundamentals and become more consistent under contest pressure.
The plan
- Strengthen dynamic programming, graph, tree, and mathematics fundamentals.
- Participate in regular Codeforces rounds and review every contest.
- Track recurring mistakes rather than only counting solved problems.
- Use virtual contests to practise time management.
Measuring progress
Rating is useful feedback, but the better signals are fewer implementation mistakes, faster recognition of familiar patterns, and the ability to explain a solution clearly after the contest.
A roadmap should change when the evidence changes. Monthly review is part of the plan, not a sign that the original plan failed.
